Yes. Our team brings the cleaning supplies and equipment needed for your scheduled service. If you prefer that we use a specific product in your home or property, please let us know ahead of time.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

No. Many clients provide access instructions so we can clean while they are away. We are happy to coordinate entry details before your appointment.

Are you insured?

Yes. Mop and Bucket is insured for your peace of mind.

How do I get a quote?

You can request a quote through our website or by contacting us directly. For some services, such as deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, or larger properties, we may recommend an on-site visit so we can provide the most accurate estimate.

What areas do you serve?

We serve New Smyrna Beach, Port Orange, Edgewater, Daytona Beach, South Daytona, and surrounding Volusia County areas.

What is the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?

A standard clean is designed to maintain a home or property on a regular basis. A deep clean is more detailed and focuses on buildup, baseboards, heavier dusting, appliance detail, and areas that may not be addressed during routine maintenance cleaning.

Do you offer one-time cleanings?

Yes. We offer one-time cleanings, including standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and vacation rental cleaning.

Do you offer recurring cleaning?

Yes. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and recurring cleaning options depending on your needs and availability.

How long will the cleaning take?

Cleaning time depends on the size, condition, and scope of the property. We can give you an estimated timeframe when scheduling your service.

What should I do before the cleaners arrive?

We recommend picking up personal items, important paperwork, toys, clothing, and clutter from surfaces when possible. This allows our team to focus more time on cleaning rather than organizing.

Residential Cleaning

What is included in a residential standard cleaning?

Residential standard cleaning typically includes kitchens, bathrooms, dusting, floors, trash removal, and general surface cleaning to help keep your home fresh and maintained.

What is included in a residential deep cleaning?

A residential deep clean includes more detailed work such as baseboards, heavier dusting, detailed bathroom and kitchen cleaning, appliance exteriors, and other areas that need extra attention.

Do you clean inside appliances?

Interior appliance cleaning, such as inside ovens or refrigerators, may be available as an add-on or included when specifically listed in the quote.

Do you clean windows?

We can spot-clean reachable interior windows and glass as part of certain cleaning services. Full professional window cleaning may require a separate quote through a window cleaning partner.

Do you wash dishes?

Our standard service does not typically include washing dishes. 

Vacation Rental Cleaning

What is included in vacation rental turnover cleaning?

Vacation rental turnover cleaning includes preparing the property for the next guest, including bathrooms, beds, floors, trash removal, kitchen reset, high-touch sanitizing, laundry when included, and reporting visible issues.

Do you provide after-clean photos?

Yes. After-clean photos can be taken and stored for your records, helping you confirm the property is ready for the next guest.

Do you report damage or missing items?

Yes. Our team performs a visual check and reports visible damage, missing items, excessive mess, safety concerns, or maintenance issues when noticed.

Do you handle laundry for vacation rentals?

Yes, laundry can be included depending on the property setup and service agreement. 

Can you handle same-day turnovers?

Yes, when scheduling allows. We are designed around common vacation rental checkout and check-in windows, such as 10 AM checkout and 4 PM check-in.

Do you restock supplies?

Yes, we can provide or restock owner-provided starter supplies such as paper products, soaps, trash liners, and other guest essentials when inventory is available.

Do you offer vacation rental deep cleaning?

Yes. Vacation rental deep cleaning is available for a more detailed reset, often recommended before peak season, after heavy guest use, or on a quarterly basis.

Scheduling, Payment & Policies

How do I schedule a cleaning?

You can request cleaning via phone, text, email and we also support many vacation rental booking apps. We will send a reminder notice on the day prior to the scheduled cleaning appointment.

What payment methods do you accept?

Zelle, check, ACH, credit card or cash.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so we can adjust our team schedule.

Do you guarantee your work?

Your satisfaction matters to us. If something was missed, please contact us within 24 hours and we will return to make it right.
